In the morning, in
Lat Krabang, Bangkok, we don't do much, drink coffee, have breakfast, read mail, write
stories, clean up the laundry.
We want to go to Cha-am
tomorrow, and Pia calls the hotel, The
Bann Pantai Resort where we have previously been to book a room for 4 nights.
There are still rooms available, also the kind that we would like to have, namely on the
ground floor.
The price is Thb 2500, Pia competes a bit and we end up with Thb 2000, including breakfast.
Pia wants to buy a new microwave for Moue, the old one broke down last year.
We find out where the nearest Home Pro is.
At about one o'clock we eat something along the road, in a small restaurant along Thanon
Chalong Krung, just around the corner from the soi where we stay, where we have been before.
The restaurant has no name, it doesn't look nice, but the food is very tasty and the owner
is very friendly.
We have eaten khanom chin nam ya.
Then we take a taxi to Home Pro.
The taxi driver proposes to go to Mega Home, which is
closer; we do that.
Mega is indeed mega, and we buy a microwave with grill for Thb 3900.
We also buy a rack to hang clothes in our bedroom.
When we get home it takes a little screwing and unpacking.
Then we go to the 7/11 to buy beer, and along the
road we also buy food, we don't feel like cooking ourselves.
We eat at home, together with the 13-year-old nephew, and then we watch music videos on TV.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
